Groups like the Crusaders and artists like Ronnie Laws, George Duke, Ramsey Lewis and Herbie Hancock were in everyone's conversation. I love Thursdays because of social media; we have designated it as the "take us back" day.
I awoke this morning listening to Herbie Hancock's V.S.O.P. Hearing it took me back to 1978 when I purchased the album. I though about creating a mix surrounded by that album, but decided to get a little more electric and funkier.
