It's the 10th Anniversary of JAM - Jazz Appreciation Month!

Can you believe it? It is the tenth anniversary of Jazz Appreciation Month! YAY!

I realize that some of you are scratching your heads, trying to figure out what I'm blogging about. :) 

What is JAM? Many people still haven't even heard of it. A few people on Twitter and Facebook actually thought that I was making it up.

JAM was created "to draw public attention to the glories of jazz as both an historical and a living treasure" - Smithsonian Institute (Washington, DC).
